FAQs on Lawns and Lawn Care

Testimonials

I can treat the lawn myself why do I need a lawn company?

Products to treat lawns are available from most diy stores but they typically last for 3-6wks. We are trained to NPTC (National Proficiency Training Council) City & Guilds standards. This means that we have access to a wider and more efficient range of products. Our equipment also enables us to apply at the correct and even rate, as we often find customers have applied uneven and damaged their lawns leading to costly repairs.

Are the products harmful to children?

We do recommend that children and adults are kept off the lawn until the product is dry. This is typically 2-3hrs depending on the weather conditions.

Will the products harm our pets?

The same advice as above for dogs & cats. We do recommend that grazing pets like rabbit’s guinea pigs are kept off the lawn for the first 3 cuts which is approx 2 wks, we also advise that customer don’t feed them any dandelions that have been treated.

I have a gardener how will you be able to work with him / her?

Yes of course we can work with your gardener, in-fact we actively promote building working relationships with gardeners. We often find they may not be able to solve a problem or don’t have access to the range of products. We also are always looking for good reliable gardeners for our own customers who may need a little help.

I am going to be at work is this a problem?

No as long as we can get access to the lawn then that’s all we need. Once your lawn has been treated we will simply post the invoice through your letter box with any additional advice / guidance and problem that we have found.

Does your treatments require watering in?

No typically, however in hot weather will may advise that it needs to be watered in.

How can I be sure that you’re trained to apply the products?

Simple ask to see our NPTC City & Guilds card.

When can I cut my lawn after you have treated it?

We advise to wait 3 days until cutting your lawn.s

Do I have to sign a contract?

The pay as you go service does not have a contract. If you chose to have one of our yearly packages then terms and conditions will apply.

What payments methods do you have?

Payment can be made by either cash, cheque, or bacs. Our yearly packages are made by standing order
